Meet Mrs. Hernandez

Hi, parents! I am so excited to be a part of the Blue Jay family! This is my first year here at St. Pius X, and we will be beginning this journey together.

My name is Sabina Hernandez, and I bring more than six years of professional classroom experience to St. Pius. My experience includes serving as a lead teacher, assistant teacher, latchkey coach, and substitute teacher. I graduated from Del Mar College in 2016 and have a passion for helping students learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Outside of the classroom, I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have two beautiful children. My daughter, Elia, will also be joining the Blue Jay family this year as a fourth-grade student.

I am looking forward to building relationships with my students and their families and making this school year a positive, rewarding, and memorable experience for everyone. Go Blue Jays!
