Our History

St. Pius X Catholic School is a parish school within the Diocese of Corpus Christi and is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department. For nearly six decades, the school’s academic and spiritual success has been rooted in the strong partnership among our parish priests, dedicated faculty and staff, supportive parents, and the wider parish community.

For 2026-2027, St. Pius X Catholic School will continue serving students in grades Pre-K3 through sixth grade. The school offers a strong academic program with a particular emphasis on Reading and Math fundamentals, educating the whole child in a Christ-centered environment so that students may grow into loving, faith-filled, and productive citizens. Enrichment opportunities include S.T.R.E.A.M., Physical Education, Computer, Art, Guidance, and Latin.

Extracurricular programs are an essential part of student life and include Art Club, Coding and Robotics Club, LEGO Club, Little Chefs, and Marion Club. As a member of the Parochial Sports League, students may also participate in organized volleyball, basketball, and track. Additional leadership and enrichment opportunities include Student Council, Cheer, and Book Club.

Faith and service remain central to the mission of St. Pius X Catholic School. Students actively participate in parish life by serving as Altar Servers, readers, and gift bearers at Mass, reinforcing the school’s commitment to forming disciples rooted in faith, service, and community.
