Meet Mrs. Canales

Hello! My name is Mrs. Canales, and I am thrilled to be joining the St. Pius X

community as a 4th-grade teacher. I love finding ways to make learning meaningful, creative, and fun.

My teaching philosophy centers around fostering a classroom rooted in curiosity, community, and compassion. I strive to cultivate a learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, take risks, and grow academically, socially, and spiritually. I believe every child is uniquely created with gifts and potential, and it is my calling as an educator to nurture those gifts in a safe, respectful, and faith-filled environment.

I’m incredibly excited to be a Blue Jay and look forward to all the joys and memories to
