My name is Michelle Hogan and I am the First-grade Assistant. This is my fifth year in the classroom at SPX. I am a SPX Alumni and a Parishioner. I have been in the educational field for 27 years, teaching, subbing and assisting. I previously owned a children's business in the Houston area (Stretch-N-Grow) for 17 years teaching music, movement and fitness to early childhood - elementary aged children.
I have always had a passion to work with children. I think my patience and love of teaching and watching the students learn and grow has brought the most joy to my life. I love being part of St. Pius X supporting our Bluejays and their families.
When I am not at the school you will find me supporting my friend's kids at their sporting events, spending time with friends, volunteering, traveling, shopping or hanging out with my sweet pup "Smudgie".
I am looking forward to another amazing year helping our First grade Bluejays grow not only in their academics but also in their faith.
