Meet Mrs. Perkins

Hi! My name is Sheree Perkins and I will be returning to third grade this year at St. Pius X.  It has been a joy to be part of the Blue Jay community, and I am truly excited for another year as your child's third-grade teacher. This will be my 15th year of teaching and my 14th year at St. Pius X!

 

I graduated from Texas A & M Corpus Christi w/ teacher certification.  I am married with three boys and two Westies. I am also a Title One tutor and host various Art camps throughout the year. I have taught Art for nine years, first grade for two years, kindergarten for one year and I have taught Latin, third grade, and PreK 4. I feel very blessed to be a part of our school and to be teaching your children.

 

This year, third grade will explore many engaging topics together, including the solar system, multiplication, division, cursive writing, and much more. We will transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn". I look forward to creating a dynamic and enriching learning environment where each student can grow and thrive.

I am eager to get to know our students and their families and am committed to making this a wonderful year of growth, discovery, and faith. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the community and third-grades educational journey.
