Dear Parents,
In 2007, St. Pius X Catholic School was designated a Blue Ribbon School by the U. S. Department of Education. Each year this recognition is given to 150 public and 50 private schools in the United States that are deemed “national models of excellence.” In commending our school, Governor Rick Perry stated, “In earning this grand recognition, you have demonstrated your commitment to being among the best of the best.” This was not only a nice commendation, but also a good description of our school. Consistently high standardized test scores, a developmentally-appropriate early childhood program, enriched reading and math classes, a strong religious education program, and an outstanding physical education program set our school above other schools. When excellent teachers and involved, supportive parents are factored into the equation with bright, inquisitive students who are eager to learn, the results are a Blue Ribbon School. The faculty and staff of St. Pius X Catholic School are committed to continuing this tradition of excellence.
Pre-registration for the 2011-2012 school year is now underway. If you wish to enroll your child(ren), please complete the attached pre-registration forms and return them with the appropriate fees at the time you pre-register. Registration fees are $410 for the first child and $365 for each additional child. Returning families are required to pay $100 of these registration fees per child at pre-registration. They must also be current with all tuition, family commitment, lunch and day care payments in order to pre-register.
When new families pre-register, they are required to interview with the Principal and pay $100 of the registration fees per child, as well as the first month’s tuition. They must also provide copies of baptismal and immunization records, a birth certificate, social security number and the child’s latest report card, if applicable. At St. Pius X, tuition is paid over 11 months, beginning in July of 2011, and ending in May of 2012. The balance of the registration fees may be paid in full by June 10, 2011, or parents may elect to pay the remaining registration fees in monthly installments along with their tuition payments over the 2011-2012 school year. Pre-registration fees are non-refundable.

A discounted tuition rate is available for registered parishioners of St. Pius X Church who regularly and faithfully contribute at least $50 a month to the church.
