The students and staff of St. Pius X School stay busy during the year with many events. We start off the year with the Blessing of Classrooms in August. There is a Living Rosary in October, and, of course, our Halloween Carnival, which is our P.T.O’s biggest fundraiser. The Christmas Program always brings smiles and tears. One of the biggest events is National Catholic Schools Week at the end of January. During this week there are a myriad of activities such as a parade, a talent show, a school spelling bee, and this past year, a “Former Principals Day.” In the Spring there is a benefit golf tournament and the May Crowning. Our sixth graders attend the Outdoor School in April and have a Middle Ages Play and Banquet in May. Also in May, our Ballet Folklorico dancers entertain us at our Cinco de Mayo celebration. And as our sixth graders graduate at the end of school, so do our kindergarteners, replete with caps and gowns. All year long, students are engaged in learning and fun activities.
