ATHLETICS Students in grades K-4 through 6th grade are provided 45 minutes of physical education instruction daily. Our P.E. instructor, Steve Wilems, teaches not only the fundamentals of various sports, but also instills in his students the values of good sportsmanship and fair play. He also stresses the importance of exercise and a proper diet. Participation in extra-curricular sports, such as volleyball and basketball, is an option for fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls and boys. Our St. Pius X School teams play other diocesan school teams weekly during the volleyball and basketball seasons. CLICK HERE for the latest game schedules and scores!
EXTRA CURRICULAR Learning at St. Pius X School goes on past the 3:15 p.m. bell. There are many extra-curricular activities that enrich the students' lives, such as Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Brownie Girl Scouts), Student Council, and Ballet Folklorico Dance. There are also the Children's and Youth Choirs that students can join.
