K-JAY Morning Video Announcements

Morning announcements are televised daily on KJAY-TV at St. Pius X School. Sixth graders serve as anchors to help Mrs. Clark with the newscast. They lead the morning prayers and Pledge of Allegiance and report the menu from the Blue Jay Cafe. Fifth graders do the production work that entails the actual filming with a camcorder, cue cards, cue person, and technician. The students not only have fun, but also learn how to handle themselves in front of and behind a camera. They do a great job!
